It has taken two decades to appreciate the devastating social repercussions of AIDS. While millions are infected, many more are affected. The disease has wiped out entire villages, leaving a generation of orphans in its wake. DFL’s LifeChild employs an effective community-based care system for orphaned and vulnerable children, sustaining their every need and ensuring them a prosperous future.
Millions of orphans populate the streets and villages of Sub-Saharan Africa. The impact of the generation without parents cannot even be measured, especially in developing countries. LifeChild, the Doctors for Life orphan project has started multiple day-care centres South Africa and other Sub-Saharan countries, to offer a second chance to children without hope.
