There are five organizations who are jointly planning this Networking Conference: CMF (Christian Medical Fellowship); Hospi-Vision; DFL (Doctors for Life); HCF (Healthcare Christian Fellowship) and TEASA (The Evangelical Alliance of South Africa). HCF is the convening organization.What is the Target Group?
Leaders and Potential Leaders in Healthcare and Christian/Medical groups
who will focus on defining the needs within the health sector from a spiritual or Biblical perspective and then under God’s guidance, formulate interventions to address the issues.
- To raise a united Christian voice in the health services of our country in order to make a constructive contribution to the quality of health services for our nation
- To strengthen Christians and give guidance in health matters, such as ethical issues and sound policy development in health
- To encourage more church involvement in ministering to the sick
- To create leadership and mentorship for students in healthcare
- To focus on the need for Compassionate Spiritual Care of Patients and Staff in healthcare institutions.
The main plenary speaker will be Brother Andrew, Founder/President Emeritus of Open Doors and Promoter at Large for Healthcare Christian Fellowship International. His addresses will be of a strategic nature, especially geared to leaders.
The Plenary Sessions and Commissions will allow for speakers with particular expertise to address subjects flowing from the identified needs in the healthcare environment. There will be time for delegates to deliberate and discuss the provided strategies and interventions.

The Conference will be held at the ATKV Resort, Drakensville. Hailed as one of South Africa’s premier resorts, Drakensville nestles in the foothills of the majestic Amphitheatre, with a panoramic view of the Northern Drakensberg range. Peace, tranquility, and natural harmony are the keynotes of this mountain resort. The grounds are spacious with well kept lawns and rose bushes. The roads are paved - and accommodation, conference hall and restaurant are in close proximity to each other, so no transport will be needed within the grounds.

Travel direction HARRISMITH from Johannesburg or Durban
At HARRISMITH take the turnoff to BETHLEHEM N5. Drive on for about 4.5 km and then turn left at the signboard R712 Qwa-Qwa/Phuthadijhaba.
Drive on for a further 8.5 km and then turn left on the BERGVILLE R74 road.
ATKV DRAKENSVILLE RESORT is approximately 43 km further, situated at the foot of the Oliviershoek Pass.
Turn left at the first crossroads after the Pass. (On the right hand side there will be a turn off to the Northern Drakensberg).
Drive for a further 2 km and at the T junction turn right. Drive on for another 1 km and at the yield sign turn right again. Drive for a further 2 km all along the canal until a small bridge is reached. Turn left over the bridge and the entrance gates to ATKV DRAKENSVILLE is about 100 meters further on the right hand side.
